L'appartamento che vedrò non sembra bellissimo dalle fotografie, ma a differenza degli altri è vicinissimo al centro e, cosa da non sottovalutare, è a 2 min. dalle fermate dei bus che mi servono per andare e tornare dal lavoro...
Arrivo a Leamington di buon ora e mi dirigo verso l'agenzia dell'appartamento dei miei sogni per comunicare che non posso permettermi quella meraviglia e che vorrei sapere se hanno altre scelte per me...
La ragazza deliziosa del giorno prima non c'è, parlo perciò con una sua collega alla quale comunico la mia decisione e che, per tutta risposta, mi dice che non hanno altre proposte per me e che devo andare a chiedere alle agenzie vicine...rimango spiazzata, per il trattamento e per la poca disponibilità, ma esco ed entro nell'agenzia vicina....qui a Leamington tutte le agenzie immobiliari sono collocare nella stessa piazza una vicino all'altra...come faranno?...probabilmente non si fanno concorrenza...anzi, l'esatto contrario faranno cartello in modo da livellare tutti i prezzi....Comunque, a parte le strategie di mercato, anche in questo caso la ricerca si rivela deludente....
Tra tutte strappo un solo appuntamento...per una casa che dalle foto sembra molto carina....
ma adesso mi dirigo in Priory Terrace...mi devo affrettare....
Arrivo qualche minuto prima e faccio un giro intorno allo stabile...è una tipica casetta inglese e al piano terra c'è uno studio dentistico...il primo piano non sembra in ottime condizioni e l'alloggio che vedrò è nel sotto tetto, al secondo piano....

Arriva una bella signora bionda e mi accompagna nella visita...sono davvero delusa...la casa è sporchissima, la moquette è blu, vecchia e sporca...i mobili sono orribili, vecchi e sporchi...la cucina ha una patina bianca di grasso...orribile...ed il bagno...bè...almeno la doccia è nuova...
Il rent è di £450, ma sin da subito dico alla signora dell'agenzia che le condizioni dell'appartamento sono davvero poco incoraggianti e che tutto, qualsiasi cosa, dovrebbe essere pulita a fondo prima di poter ospitare qualsiasi persona....faccio una cosa che non avrei mai fatto e propongo un importo alternativo: non £450 ma £400 e ci lasciamo con l'intento di risentirci lunedì...
Esco delusa anche da questo appuntamento ed inizio a preoccuparmi....noto con stupore di avere un messaggio in segreteria, lo sento per ben 6 volte, prima di capire che è l'altro appuntamento...l'agenzia mi avvisa che l'appartamento è stato affittato...perciò disdicono l'incontro...adesso inizio ad essere davvero preoccupata...ho solo una settimana e non ci sono appartamenti!!!!!
FOURTH APARTMENT
The next morning I'm highly charged, I have many things to do in Leamington ... and I added a new appointment to the poor list who I unable to prepare thanks to a new site I'm referring to: Rightmove.com.
The apartment that I see from the photographs do not appear beautiful, but unlike the others is close to the center and, not least, is 2 min. the bus stops I need to get to and from work ...
Arrival in Leamington early and I headed to the agency in the apartment of my dreams I can not afford to communicate the wonder and I want to know if they have other choices for me ...
The lovely girl the day before wasn't there, so I speak with a colleague to whom I communicate my decision and that, in response, she said that they don't have other suggestions for me and that I must go and ask agencies to close .. . I remain puzzled, for the treatment and the lack of availability, but I go out in the agency and within close .... here in Leamington all estate agents are placed in the same plaza next to each other ... how can they? ... probably not competing ... in fact, will do the opposite sign to level all prices .... Anyway, aside from marketing strategies, even in this case, research is proving disappointing ....
Among all ... ripping a single appointment for a home that looks very nice from the photos ....
but now I head into Priory Terrace ... I must hasten ....
Check the first few minutes and do a tour around the building ... is a typical English house and the ground floor there is a dental surgery ... the first floor does not seem in excellent condition and I will see that accommodation is under the roof on the second floor ....
Here comes a nice blond lady on a tour ... and I'm really disappointed ... the house is filthy, the carpet is blue, old and dirty ... the furniture is ugly, old and dirty ... the kitchen has a white deposit of fat ... ugly ... and the bathroom ... well ... at least the shower is new ...
The rent is £450, but right now I say to the lady of the agency that the condition are indeed very encouraging and that everything, anything, should be thoroughly cleaned before it can accommodate any person .... I propose an alternative amount: £400 instead of £450 and we leave with the intent to recall on Monday ...
I'm also disappointed by this appointment and I start to worry .... I note with amazement that I have a voicemail message, I can feel it for 6 times, before realizing that is the agency of another appointment informs me that the apartment was rented and we have to cancel the meeting ... so ... now beginning to be really worried ... I have only a week and there are no apartments!!
