Ultimo appuntamento e poi la casa sarà mia...forse / Last appointment and then the house will be mine...maybe

Durante la settimana ricevo un sacco di telefonate...la società che sta controllando le mie referenze sta contattando chiunque: la mia attuale azienda, la mia vecchia azienda, la banca italiana, la nuova banca inglese, me per confermare gli ultimi dati....insomma mi stanno rivoltando come un calzino....sono pronta a dare il mio numero di scarpe, il gruppo sanguigno e le mie preferenze sessuali, quando sembrano finalmente essere soddisfatti delle ricerche fatte e delle risposte ricevute...manderanno il loro responso al Landlord entro lunedì e quindi, penso, la casa sarà mia...nessun intoppo!!!!

Il venerdì mi presento al secondo appuntamento in anticipo come sempre....sono le 15 e l'appuntamento è alle 15.30...faccio un giro in zona, è proprio carina e ci sono un sacco di negozi e di ristoranti, la fermata del bus è appena dietro l'angolo e la chiesa è maestosa ma fa subito casa!!!!

Stavolta arriva un ragazzo ad accompagnarmi nella visita, è molto gentile e mi mostra le migliorie della casa, la pulizia che hanno fatto e i certificati di sicurezza per la stufa elettrica e a gas....do un'occhiata veloce...insomma sembra tutto a posto....ci diamo nuovamente appuntamento per il lunedì per ricevere le chiavi e faccio due appunti che il ragazzo mi consiglia di scrivere per e-mail al donnone biondo: manca ancora qualcosa per chiudere in maniera più sicura la porta d'ingresso e, cosa molto importante, pur avendo allertato la banca italiana per il trasferimento dei soldi, sicuramente ci saranno alcuni giorni di ritardo nella transazione, perciò lunedì non avranno tutti i soldi, ma solo quelli del deposito , ben £600....

Lui mi dice che non ci sono problemi, ci salutiamo e vado per la mia strada contenta di poter spendere il pomeriggio a pensare a cosa comprare per la nuova casa e a come renderla più accogliente....vado quindi all'IKEA di Coventry!!!!


LAST APPOINTMENT AND THEN THE HOUSE WILL BE MINE....MAYBE

During the week I get a lot of phone calls ... the company is checking my references are contacting everyone: my current company, my old company, the Italian bank, the new British bank, me to confirm the latest information .. in short .. They are turning inside out .... I'm ready to give my shoe size, blood group and my sexual preference, when they seem to finally be satisfied with the research done and send their responses ... response to the Landlord by Monday and then, I think, the house will be mine ... no hitch!!


On Friday I come to the second appointment in advance as always .... I'm  there at 15 and the appointment is at 15.30 ... I do a ride area is really pretty and there are lots of shops and restaurants, the bus stop is just behind the corner and the church is majestic, but immediately makes house!!
This time a guy comes to take me on a visit, is very kind and showed me the improvements of the house, who did the cleaning and safety certificates for gas and electricity stove .... I look fast ... so it all looks okay .... let us re-appointment for Monday to receive the keys and I make two notes that the guy I should write for e-mail to the big woman blond: something is missing to close in a more secure door and, most importantly, despite having alerted the Italian bank to transfer money, surely there will be some days of delay in the transaction, so Monday will not have any money, but only those of the deposit, £600 well ....
He tells me that there are  not problems, we say goodbye and I go on my way happy to be able to spend the afternoon thinking about what to buy for the new house and how to make it more inviting .... then I go to IKEA in Coventry!!
